St Martin's Playgroup
Our playgroup for pre-schoolers meets every Thursday and Friday between 9.30am – 11.30am during school terms. Playgroup is held in the community area at the back of the church and includes morning tea, story time, and general play with a large variety of toys. Cost is a gold coin donation per family per session. The Playgroup is coordinated by a small group of volunteers from St Martin's Anglican Parish. New members are most welcome.
Emergency Food Relief
St Martin's is part of SWERNI (Stonnington West Emergency Relief Network Inc). We have food parcels and other personal items available for residents of the Prahran, Windsor, South Yarra and Toorak areas. The service is available to those holding some sort of health care or pension card on Wednesdays and Fridays between 11am and 2pm, from the Parish Office inside the back of the church (entrance off Wilson St ).
St Martin's Choir and Folk Band
Our choir sings on the third Sunday of each month, plus on other special occasions such as Easter, Christmas, etc. Practice is usually at 9am prior to the 10am service on the third Sunday of the month. The choir sings a mixture of traditional anthems, hymn settings and other music.
The Folk Band provides music for worship on the first Sunday of each month at the 10am worship, with practice at 9am prior to the service. The Band consists of both children and adults.
New members are always welcome for both the Choir and the Folk Band. If interested, please send your contact details to the parish office and you will be contacted by the relevant person.
Sunday School
The Parish Sunday School operates every Sunday, except the first Sunday of the month when there is family worship. Children start in church and leave after the first hymn, then return at the greeting of peace in time for communion. The Sunday School caters for both older and younger children.
Hey Dee Ho Music
is a singing and movement program for babies and children from 0 to 5. It is held on Wednesday mornings. For program details and cost, check the website at www.heydeehomusic.com.au or phone the parish office on 9827 3324.
Yoga and Meditation
Anamaya Yoga runs yoga and meditation classes at St Martin's on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays (day and evening). For bookings and more information, please call 8060 9397 or email info@anamayayoga.com.au .
